Terry began his musical career in Blues and Soul bands in the 1960s touring extensively in the UK Europe and the Middle East.
Terry presents a weekly radio programme, Café Americain, on ICRFM, WNR (Norfolk),and Expat Radio France, featuring music from the 1920s through to the 1950s.
For the last ten years he has been presenting very successfully, to many organisations and groups throughout East Anglia, a programme of 30s and 40s songs with stories and anecdotes about the songwriters, composers and performers of the period.
